Advantages:
A significant difference to conventional HDMI connections is the patented Lyndahl SL-P connection technology. The contacts are not soldered, as is usually the case. This means: no chemically aggressive solder connections and no tendency to oxidation or contact problems with increasing age of the product.
Even today, HDMI cables are still soldered by hand almost without exception. Deviations due to the different daily form of the workers are inevitable and regularly lead to quality problems with classic HDMI connections, which is where the solderless Lyndahl SL technology sets new standards: electrical and mechanical tolerances are reduced to an absolute minimum. As a not insignificant side effect, there are better working conditions during production due to the elimination of toxic soldering chemicals. Solderless connections have long been established in professional network technology, for example. Thanks to its slim dimensions, the Lyndahl SL-P HDMI metal connector is also well suited for (largely straight) installation pipes with an internal diameter of 25 mm. Furthermore, the connectors of the SL-P MKII version are equipped with additional springs to ensure a very tight fit, which is particularly advantageous for professional applications.

Quality:
All products in the Lyndahl SL-P series comply with the latest standard (HDMI V1.4a High Speed with Ethernet). With the integrated Ethernet cable, the use of new functions and technologies outside of picture and sound, such as 3D, is guaranteed. Lyndahl guarantees perfect function up to 20m in FullHD for all lengths in the SL series. For longer lengths, we recommend our HDMI extenders.

Loose material for installers:
SL-P technology is also available for self-assembly by the meter (1.4V). Installation channels and custom-made products are therefore no longer an obstacle. The precision insulation displacement technology joins the patented connectors using special pliers. Within minutes, you have a perfect SL-P connection that is technically no different from a pre-assembled cable. With cable quality AWG24, lengths of up to 20 m are possible without any problems. Shorter distances can be laid with the AWG26 quality.
